If you are looking for sleeping bag that will protect you against severe weather conditions, this is the best choice! It was a piece of equipment used during expeditions to K2 (the 2nd highest mountain in the World) in 2003 and Shisha Pangma (the World's 14th highest mountain) in 2004. Alaska 1300 was used then at an altitude of 7800m, which is reputed to be the highest winter level for any sleeping bag.
